But, when I got my PAR (PAL) one year ago, the software 1.89 did not have
this problem. At some software revision the banding problem came up.
When I try a ADpro color fill with the latest 2.50 software I get ugly
banding, with 1.89 and a few revisions later (f.e. 2.07) not. So I use the
old one for LW framing and the newest one for the other stuff.
I seems that DPS decreased the compression factor (more details but more
banding in gradients). The same picture is 80Kb with 1.89 and 90Kb in 2.50.
(block limit 200 with a Micropolis2210A)

Not for me, when there's no Amiga version. I'm still looking around for a
fast render box and even then, the PAR is good enough for me (like you
said in an other way :)
